Rules for a controlled Capsule pilot

Who may participate

The real pilot is invitation-only, limited to approved territories, and reserved for adults who confirm the current pilot boundaries. An invitation opens account access only; it grants no data permission.

What PDC provides

PDC lets you build and manage a personal Capsule, add selected provider signals, create text and presence material, keep sealed uploads, set boundaries, create exports, control visibility, review opportunities, and exercise privacy rights.

Features may be changed, paused or limited during the pilot for security, provider, legal or operational reasons. PDC will not silently broaden an existing consent when a feature changes.

Capsule visibility is not a sale

Your Capsule is private by default. If an approved discovery mode is available, you choose what is shown and to which permitted audience. Consultation does not authorize copying, reuse, licensing, AI processing, resale, sublicensing or project inclusion.

Buyer projects and opportunities

A verified buyer may create a structured project and request aggregate eligibility. Only an approved project may ask you for a temporary, field-specific preview. Your response may allow preview only or a conditional path to a later final decision.

A buyer cannot browse unrestricted private Capsule data, download preview media by default, receive sealed plaintext automatically, or change approved project terms without a new review and, where required, a new decision from you.

No guaranteed commercial result

Participation, readiness, visibility and preview do not guarantee projects, selection, compensation or future earnings. The pilot contains no PDC payout or payment rail. Any permitted consideration is documented for the specific project and handled outside PDC unless later terms expressly say otherwise.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate account and territory information and keep access to your account and local sealed keys secure.
• Add only data you may lawfully handle, especially when an export contains information about other people.
• Use official provider authorization or export routes and do not bypass provider controls.
• Review each visibility, preview and final-use summary before confirming it.
• Do not misuse PDC, probe another person’s Capsule, evade audience controls, scrape, impersonate, or introduce unlawful or harmful content.

Leaving, suspension and deletion

You can leave the pilot from the participation page. PDC then pauses discoverability, revokes temporary previews, closes pending opportunities and pauses buyer access. Your account is not deleted, and final project grants remain separately manageable under their recorded terms.

PDC may suspend access to protect participants, comply with law, address misuse, or contain a security incident. Account deletion follows the privacy and backup retention process and does not promise removal of evidence that must lawfully be retained.

Provider and service limits

External providers control their own APIs, exports, scopes, reviews and terms. A connector may be unavailable, reduced or revoked. PDC does not guarantee uninterrupted access to an external provider or recovery of a sealed file when every owner-held key copy is lost.

Pilot exclusions

The pilot does not provide AI generation, voice cloning, face recognition, biometric templates or identification, AI training, automated sale, public unrestricted people browsing, payments, automatic partner access, or automatic sealed-data release.
